Transfer Information
South Plains College is a great place to start your education. Leaving SPC for a University to finish a four-year degree can be an intimidating process. We have all heard the stories of someone who has lost a great deal of credits in transfer. It is our goal to help students lose as few credits as possible when entering another school. In fact, with careful planning a student can transfer seamlessly into a university.
Below are several links to help you make informed decisions about classes you take here at South Plains College, as well as guides and tutorials to help make the process as easy as possible for you. I suggest you take the time to do the research and work with an advisor, that way you become an informed consumer. Your education is a lifetime investment. So take the time to become knowledgeable about how a transfer works. You will be glad you did.
IMPORTANT: Most universities and programs will only accept up to 66hrs of credit for courses taken at a community college. Issues such as upper division credit and prerequisites for advanced courses make it imperative that you work with an advisor to ensure the seamless transfer of courses. These resources are intended to help you research your path, and help you plan your academic career.
